This morning I woke up knowing that I was supposed to meet Sisters from church at 9:30 at the zoo. It was nine o'clock. I decided that I would bathe the kids and be late. It wasn't bad. "D" was able to feed the Larokeets -little parrot type birds- normally this activity is closed. It was going well until one of the Birds got greedy and tried to take the feeding cup and ended up spilling on her. She was very brave to go into the habitat with out me and when this happened she looked like I should have been there to make it all better. I could have gone in but I had "s" on my back in the carrier. I figured it was too much of a hassle to take him off. Any way one of the zoo staff gave her some more of the food and she slowly recovered. She is still hanging on to the negative about it. On our way home she entertained "s" I love it when she makes him laugh. He is now getting old enough to interact more with her.
In my profile I said that my son is two he's not quite but close enough. He has started to take off his diaper and tell me poo poo. He came running into the room today naked and said ma ma, poo poo, poo poo, potty. I was shocked. Oh course I said show me and he took me to the potty to show me the pull up in the toilet with poo poo in it. He kind of has the idea.
With my H out of town I am now taking on the things he used to do. Which includes trash to the curb and mowing the lawn. All of these things I can do. I am just used to him doing it. I had hoped the lawn mower wouldn't start but it did I had to stop half way through because my hands hurt so bad from the rattling. I am also used to a self propelled lawn mower. This one is not. I guess you don't realize how spoiled you are until you have to make up the difference.
I bought a box of 90 contractor trash bags. My goal is to use the entire box before my H gets home in several weeks. So far I've used ten of them half of which will go to Good Will. Well I think that's it for today.
Much Love , Jenn
